Agency life: A study

Multiple design solutions

Intro

During my time at Deloitte, I had the chance to work on many different projects that had timelines ranging from a few weeks, to many months. The benefit of working on such diverse engagements, means that I've developed the skill to quickly internalize and understand the user needs and business requirements of different industries, internal company organization, government oversight, and even how different countries can effect how to design a digital product. As a naturally curious person, this was a great way to get insight and knowledge so many differing needs. I learned to put my preferred design style to the side and really design for the brand and user goals that I was partnering with in the process. These are a few of those opportunities.

These projects typically had very short turnaround times (~2-4 weeks but sometimes as little as a few days)

Atlanta Hawks Fan Experience

A fun chance to work on a sports application that's all about the fans. This app would allow fans to chat with each other, buy tickets right from the app and earn points along the way. Once the fan was at the game, the app would be able to switch functionality and allow them to order food, purchase gear and find out where the next stop after the game will be through a heat map that shows fan activity.

Deloitte MBA Recruiting App

A truly missed opportunity to make something amazing. The team I worked with came together to create something beautiful and useful. The purpose of the app was to show the history and excellence of Deloitte to the young graduates of the nation's most sought after MBA programs. There were multiple videos, a digital business card function, and event coordination all wrapped in an elegant and unique visual language.

Vail Resorts

Creating a digital experience for a local company that I respect and use their product doesn't come along every day.

State of New Mexico

Working for any government organization can sometimes be a drag but the folks in New Mexico's Department of Workforce Solutions appreciated our exploration of their colorful landscapes and cultural symbols. Making something that may be an uncomfortable experience (certifying unemployment) can be eased through our actions as designers.

ShaneCo Jewelers

Another local company for whom we ended up creating a new digital portfolio. I was happy to be on the pitch and create a few experiences that would allow couples to collaborate on the perfect ring buying experience.

CoBank

Primarily an agricultural financial institution, CoBank had unique needs to present to their users. Whether it's creating goals to purchase new farm equipment or seeing past crop yields, this was an interesting dive into the financial sector.
