Project: Liverpool Mexico Retailer
Role: Lead Designer

A different kind of retail experience

The team at Liverpool had an intriguing idea: to put iPads in the hands of their floor salespeople to allow for on-the-spot sales, item lookup, and product comparisons. Beyond just the opportunity to work in the retail space, the challenge of creating an experience that was in a different language was well met. One of the main goals I had for this product was to use bold lines and high contrast elements as the retail workers would be in widely varying locations within the stores. Of course making sure that our designs were sophisticated and pleasing to the eye was also of paramount concern to us as many of the store's customers would see the interface as the floor worker helped them purchase and find items.

A Bold Brand

I relished the chance to work with Liverpool's branding. Using mostly black and white for high contrast with the occasional splash of pink to highlight certain items created a clear hierarchy of elements but still allowed for product images to feel comfortable within the space.
